Exchanges and returns

Exchanges and returns are possible within 14 days under the following conditions:

  • The product must not have been used or damaged; the product must not show any signs of use or external changes.

  • During the cooling-off period, you must handle the product and its packaging with care.

  • You may only unpack and use the product to the extent necessary to assess whether you wish to keep the product.

  • The packaging and accessories must (if reasonably possible) be in new condition so that we can sell it again immediately.

  • You return the item at your own expense. Unstamped shipments are accepted by us, but if this has not been agreed, we will charge additional postage costs.

  • The return amount will be refunded to the bank account you specified as soon as possible, but no later than within 30 days, excluding the shipping costs you paid.

  • This excludes items that are custom-made for you.

Prevention is better than cure. Please contact us if you have any doubts in advance. We will be happy to help you find the right product. This prevents disappointments and sending back and forth.

Please note: for hygiene reasons it is not possible to exchange mattresses, duvets, underblankets or pillows.

Returning the product
If you wish to return an item, please contact us within 14 days of receipt via klantenservice@vanbinnen.com or by telephone on 010-2409379.

Return shipping costs
The costs of returning are for your own account. Only if a product is defective or damaged through no fault of your own, Van Binnen can decide to reimburse the costs incurred by you for returning.

Drop off at PostNL
If you are sending the return from the Netherlands and it does not fit through the letterbox, you can drop off the package at a PostNL agency. PostNL provides packages with a 3S code. With this code it is possible to track the shipping route of the package via the PostNL website and see when the package has arrived at its destination. Therefore, always ask the post office for the 3S number.

Return shipment liability
Van Binnen is not liable for the loss of shipments or damage during transport by PostNL or other delivery services. Therefore, always ensure good, neutral packaging. If after contacting our customer service it appears that you can return the package, please stamp it sufficiently. In case of a value of more than € 250, we advise you to take out additional insurance.

Refund of your money
After registering the return shipment, you can return the shipment to us. At the moment we have received your return shipment and have agreed with you that you will receive your money back, we will transfer the amount due to the account number you provided within 30 days.
